I just moved here this year. TODAY OCT 7TH i could have my driving license in florida. i called the dmv a few weeks ago, and they told me that i have to take the 30 hour driving class, the 200 question test, and also drive with a person for 6 hours until i could officially get my license. but why would i do that when i could just make a quick trip down to florida, drive with a guy for like 5 minutes. and then get my license.
is this correct that i have to do this? or would i only have to take the 25 question test to change my license from Fl- Nc? which is what you have to do when you move from a different state to change your license.
does anyone have any information on this? i plan on going to the DMV soon to find out for sure. but please help.

if u now live in NC then yes u have to jump thro all the hoops the DMV says......if u still have an address that is valid in FL i would suggest u make taht trip b4 they find out....because once u have the license then all u would need to do is go in and pay for the new NC one....
** tho legally once u move ur supposed to swap ur license to new state within 45 days...How to get a North Carolina license with a Florida Driving Permit.?
