I'm new to North Carolina and bought a car from someone. What do I have to do to register / title it?

Here's what I mean: I have the old title, which the lady signed over to me. Is that all I need to take into DMV...just the title and my ID?I'm new to North Carolina and bought a car from someone. What do I have to do to register / title it?

Take the title and the reg. form signed by the lady.

along with all your id proof.



Take cheque book or credit card to pay for the sales tax..i guess you will be all set.
