North Carolina Drivers Road Test?

For anyone who has done it, how is the test? Like, do you go out onto the street or is it done primarily in the back of the DMV? What sort of things do you have to do and how long does the test typically last? I live near Charlotte if that make a difference, and the DMV near me is the one on Arrowood RdNorth Carolina Drivers Road Test?
I'm from durham but the test for me took about 30 minutes. The DMV examiner will tell you to drive on the highway, but most usually will test you in an area where theirs not a lot of traffic like a neighborhood/subdivision.

Put on your seat belt.

Adjust seat/mirrors if needed.

They will test you on:

Backing up

3 point turn

using left/right signals

stopping

driving straight on the right side of the road

looking left/right at stop signs before moving

parking

those are some of the things I know they will test, there may be more it depends on who test youNorth Carolina Drivers Road Test?
I took the test myself 7 years ago to be exact. I will tell you there is NOTHING to be afraid of! In Hickory, NC, on 127, for the road test all you have to do is drive out of the parking lot, maintain 45 for 1 quarter mile, turn, do a 3 point reverse, and head back. It is that simple! Just remember to always signal. That is a big one in Catawba County! GOOD LUCK- pal!North Carolina Drivers Road Test?
I live in Raleigh and it was the easiest test ever. My guy just had me drive down the road a bit, drive in reverse, and do a 3 point turn. Boom. License.
I live in western NC. My road test was on the actual road. I drove about 2 - 3 miles down the road, backed into a driveway and headed back.
