What's documents are required to sell a car (that is registered in CA) in No. Carolina?

I am in North Carolina and I have a car, which is registered in California. I have notified California DMV that I do not intend to return the car there, however, my registration and title documents are from California. I am selling it to someone in North Carolina and need to know what the process is and what documents I need to transfer this auto to the new buyer. thank you. What's documents are required to sell a car (that is registered in CA) in No. Carolina?
The title, signed in the appropriate place, and a bill of sale is all it takes to sell a vehicle. Probably easiest to take the buyer to the DMV with you and they can help you through the procedure. What's documents are required to sell a car (that is registered in CA) in No. Carolina?
You can use your California title and registration to apply for a North Carolina title. Just take it to the Motor Vehicles Registration office (not the Driver's License office) in your county seat.

Then you can sell the vehicle and transfer the title to another owner. If you can both meet at the license tag office, you can do it in one session. What's documents are required to sell a car (that is registered in CA) in No. Carolina?
Just to make you aware in addition to any other steps you take to transfer ownership of your California registered car, you must also remove the California license plates before giving possession of the car to the new buyer, and send them to the California DMV.

I don't have time to look up the specific Vehicle Code section at the moment, but not doing so is considered quite a serious matter by California authorities.
