What would the process be for getting plates for my truck in North Carolina?

Im from VA and I need to get plates from north carolina what do I have to do besides go to the DMV?|||If you're going to live in N.C. you'll need liability insurance, minimum requirement. also your state inspection,needs to be current, then you can get tag, you may have to pay some tax.
